1. Epic Games by Walt Disney ($1.5B)

Epic Games in February secured a mammoth $1.5 billion investment from Walt Disney, marking one of the largest gaming fundraisings of 2024. This investment came alongside a multiyear project.

2. Aonic by Active Ownership and Metric Capital Partners ($157M)

Aonic received a $157 million investment from Active Ownership and Metric Capital Partners in late 2024 in December.

3. Build A Rocket Boy by RedBird ($110M)

Build A Rocket Boy, known for its ambitious project Everywhere, raised $110 million from RedBird Capital Partners to expand its PC and console titles.

4. Saber by Aleph and Crestview (NA)

Video game developer and publisher Saber Interactive attracted funding from Aleph and Crestview, though the deal value was not disclosed.

5. HYBE IM by Makers Fund ($80M)

South Korea-based HYBE IM raised $80 million from Makers Fund to enhance its mobile gaming portfolio, which has already seen the release of Three Kingdoms: Idle Chronicle.

6. Volley by Lightspeed and M12 ($58M)

In July, Volley secured $58 million from Lightspeed and Microsoft’s Venture Fund M12 to develop new multiplatform gaming experiences.

7. Spyke Games by Moon Active ($50M)

Spyke Games received $50 million from fellow mobile game developer Moon Active, known for Coin Master.

8. Azra Games by Pantera ($43M)

Azra Games in October 2024 raised $42.7 million from American venture capital firm Pantera, to focus on Web3 and mobile gaming.

9. Mountaintop by Anthos ($30M)

Mountaintop Studios secured a $30 million investment from Anthos to support its PC and console game development.

10. Gunzilla by Blizzard and CoinFund ($30M)

Germany-based Gunzilla Games received a $30 million investment from Blizzard and CoinFund to explore Web3 gaming opportunities.
