Finland-based Mobile Developer Seven Stars secures Seed Funding

Mobile game developer Seven Stars has successfully raised seed funding to support its vision of creating the next generation of puzzle games.

Announcing the successful completion of their seed round on their official LinkedIn, the funding round was co-led by Spintop Ventures and Behold Ventures, with additional backing from Sisu Game Ventures as a new investor.

The Finnish studio also secured support from Failup Ventures, former Small Giant Games CEO and Founder Timo Soininen, and several angel investors. The Finnish startup is also co-funded by the European Union.

Speaking about their vision, the studio said, “At Seven Stars, we’re building the next generation of puzzle games, blending innovation with deep industry expertise.”

The investors have shared their excitement about the partnership. Spintop Ventures described Seven Stars as a pioneering mobile games startup looking to redefine the mobile gaming landscape. Behold Ventures announced this as its first investment in Finland while Sisu Game Ventures also expressed confidence in the team’s ability to create engaging puzzle experiences.

Founded in 2022, the studio is led by CEO Alex Le Bell, alongside CTO Olli Aurola, Producer Mervi Kemppainen, and creative director Markus Tuppurainen. The rest of the team brings experience from multiple companies including Rovio, Moon Active, Next Games, Seriously, and Small Giant Games.
