TIGA Welcomes Four New Members to Its Board For 2025

TIGA, the trade association representing the UK video games industry, has announced the addition of four new members to its Board for 2025. This development signals a fresh phase of leadership and vision for the organisation, reinforcing its commitment to supporting the growth and success of the UK games sector.

The Board plays a crucial role in steering TIGA’s strategic direction, collaborating closely with CEO Dr. Richard Wilson OBE to shape the association’s activities, initiatives, and future plans. The new appointments were confirmed during TIGA’s recent Annual General Meeting (AGM) and include the following industry leaders:

  1. Aaron Donaghey – CEO, Hypixel Studios
  2. Connor Crossland – UK Corporate Affairs Manager, Ubisoft
  3. Laura Treanor – Head of HR, Steel City Interactive
  4. Rebekah Simpson – Chief of Staff, Playground Games

These new Board members bring a wealth of experience and diverse perspectives to TIGA, further strengthening its ability to represent the varied interests of the UK video games community.

They will join the existing Board, which already includes a strong group of industry figures:

  1. Jason Kingsley CBE – CEO & Creative Director, Rebellion
  2. Mark Gerhard – Co-CEO & CTO, Build a Rocket Boy
  3. Carl Cavers OBE – CEO, Sumo Group
  4. Elaine Green – Director, Nelly Vision
  5. Halli Bjornsson – CEO, Lockwood Publishing
  6. Jon Rissik – CEO, Dovetail Games

Each of these leaders brings valuable expertise to the table, from creative direction to corporate strategy and innovation, making for a well-rounded and dynamic Board.

TIGA’s role as the voice of the UK video games industry is more important than ever as the sector continues to grow and evolve.
