Utomik, a cloud gaming subscription service, has officially shut down. Launched in 2022, the platform entered the market during a wave of excitement for cloud gaming, but shifting industry trends have led to its closure, effective immediately.

The company confirmed it could no longer sustain operations, and all subscriptions have been automatically canceled to ensure users won’t be charged moving forward. In a farewell statement, the Utomik team expressed gratitude to its community, saying, “It’s been an incredible journey, and we hope you’ve enjoyed the ride as much as we have.”

Here’s the email Utomik sent to subscribers:

It is with a heavy heart that we must inform you we can no longer fulfill our obligations to operate the Utomik service. As a result, we are terminating the service, effective immediately. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. Please rest assured that no action is required on your part—your subscription will be canceled automatically, and no further charges will be made. Thank you for being a part of the Utomik family. It’s been an incredible journey, and we hope you’ve enjoyed the ride as much as we have!
